Besides, with the high-intensity investment in car-related industries across China, the supply-and-demand relation of the market has been changed. The development of traditional fuel vehicle is slow, which also has intensified the pressure for Chongqing.
Therefore, developing smart automobile has been set as a strategic task for economic transformation of this city.
Chongqing may suffer from the transformation, but it has its own advantages in this challenge.
Firstly, Chongqing is an important industrial center of China, which has been a treasure for the transformation and creates a huge market for the upcoming application of Big Data Intelligence.
Meanwhile, Chongqing is focusing on intelligent-industry-related education and research. There are more than 50 colleges and universities, more than 100 research institutions, and more than 200 smart manufacturing enterprises in Chongqing.
Besides, grasping the trend of a new round of scientific and technological revolution, and increasing efforts in strategic emerging industries and smart industries will be the mission for a Smart Chongqing.
