With the Signing of Strategic Cooperation of Chongqing Energy Big Data Center in Smart China Expo, on august 25th, 2018, we see a starting point for big data to serve energy industry, empower real economy and optimize modern industrial structure.
The Signing Ceremony of Strategic Cooperation of Chongqing Energy Big Data Center in Smart China Expo
On the signing ceremony, the State Information Center granted Chongqing Petroleum and Gas Exchange Center with the title of Energy Big Data Center of State Information Center. The project is the fruit of the long-term cooperation of the State Information Center, Chongqing Development and Reform Commission, Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone and Chongqing Petroleum and Gas Exchange Center. The operation company of the project was set in Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone by Chongqing Petroleum and Gas Exchange Center, with a total investment of RMB 150 million (about USD 22 million). It is aimed to take active part in building the open big data platform of Chongqing and take full advantage of big data in macro-economic control, industry development and public service.
“The Signing of Strategic Cooperation Agreement today is a milestone marking the comprehensive cooperation between the States Information Center and Chongqing Municipal People’s Government steps into a new phase of development. Meanwhile, the signing is a starting point for big data to serve energy industry, empower real economy and optimize modern industrial structure.” Said Yu Shiyang, director of Big Data Development Department of the State Information Center, in the signing ceremony.
