Application of Big Data Intelligence in the Operation Center of Chongqing public transport

By 2020, Chongqing will convert itself into an important base of intelligent industry in China, and a first-tier pilot city for the application of Big Data Intelligence. According to official documents from Smart China Expo, the crucial goals of Chongqing are as follows.
Intelligent industry
Chongqing will attach importance to developing 12 sectors, including big data, AI, integrated circuit, intelligent super-computing, software service, Internet of Things, automotive electronics, intelligent robot, intelligent hardware, intelligent automated vehicle, intelligent manufacturing, and digital content. It is estimated that the scale of these sectors will approach RMB 750 billion by 2020, and exceed RMB 1 trillion by 2022.
Upgrade the traditional industry
In order to speed the transition of the industries from traditional to intelligent mode, the government will set up 20 intelligent factories, 200 digital workshops and 2000 digital assembly lines by 2020.
Application of Big Data Intelligence
Chongqing will widely apply the Big Data Intelligence in city management, focusing on 5 aspects including integration of industries, government administration, livelihood services, public products and social governance, as well as other 33 fields and 80 crucial intelligent projects.
Innovative system
It is crucial to establish the innovative data-driven system, which includes planning and implementing the research and development of generic technologies, the introducing and developing of innovative platforms for science and technologies, enhancing the research of basic theories and advanced technologies, and speeding up the building of patent pools for intellectual property.
Information infrastructure
To provide a firm support for the development of Big Data in Chongqing, the government will focus on building high-speed, mobile, safe and wide new-type information infrastructure.
Civil-Military Integration
Government will promote the formation of civil-military integration, focusing on strengthening civil-military cooperative innovations, the education of civil-military high-end talents and the structure of civil-military integration platform.
Importing talents
Government will focus on importing high-level talents from all over the world, deepening the reform of educational mode, refining the policy and improving the service for high-level talents.
Five pillars of support for Big Data Intelligence
With the fast and stable economic growth, five pillars of support of Big Data Intelligence have shown up as follows:
I.Positive development of intelligent industry
By 2017, there were more than 3000 enterprises of intelligent industry and the output of intelligent terminals ranked second in China.
II.Sophisticated layout of platforms
The platforms of Chongqing include Liangjiang New Area, 3 bonded areas, 5 high-tech zones and 41 city-level development zones.
III.Improvement of information infrastructure
Chongqing, as one of the 13 national-level crucial Internet hubs in China, has achieved the full cover of optical fiber cable and 4G signals in the whole municipality.
IV.Thoroughly boost applications of Big Data
Chongqing is currently ranked 12th in China, and 2nd in western China, according to an information-based development index. Due to the intelligent application in more and more fields such as public safety, society governance, education, etc., it ranked 7th in 324 cities nationwide.
V.Breakdown in crucial technologies
The facial recognition tech, researched by Cloudwalk, has been widely used in airports all over China. The 8/12-inch semiconductor silicon wafer, researched and produced by Chongqing Advanced Silicon Technology, has been the first Chinese company which has achieved it.
