Chongqing Speed-up to Be International Spa Therapy Destination

Over 350 Thermalism and Climatotherapy experts, scholars, entrepreneurs from China, Italy, Russia, Japan, Hungary, Swiss, Poland etc. have gathered in Chongqing today, for the First International Symposium on Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy Tourism in China. They will assist Chongqing to build the world-class hot spring tourism city as well as hot spring health resort.

On the morning of Oct.16, the opening ceremony of the First International Symposium on Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy Tourism in China was opened in Sheenjoy Hotel, Beibei District of Chongqing.

Officials delivered keynote speeches on the Opening Ceremony

Key officials delivered keynote speeches on the opening ceremony. They are Ms. Pan Yiqin – the Vice Mayor of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, Mr. Zhang Yue – Secretary General of Hot Spring Tourism Branch of China Tourism Association, Yao Jun – the Vice Chairman and Secretary of China Health Association, Zhou Xu – Secretary of CPC committee of Beibei District, Chongqing. The speeches highlighted Chongqing’s rich natural resources of hot spring and drew a blueprint for Chongqing’s promising development of hot spring tourism and health resort.

The Vice Mayor of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, Ms Pan Yiqin, delivered a keynote speech.

Awarding ceremony was carried out for FEMTEC Asia – Pacific Chongqing Office, Chongqing International Thermalism and Climate for Healthy Wellness Research Institute,  National Climate for Healthy Wellness Demonstration Base, Chongqing Thermalism Tourism Association and Chongqing Hot SpringsTourism Alliance granted by FEMTEC, Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, China Meteorological Administration and Chongqing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development.

International experts were appointed as adviser to Chongqing’s hot spring development.

17 international experts from Thermalism and Climatotherapy field were granted the letter of appointment as the first batch of adviser to Chongqing’s Hot Spring and Climatotherapy tourism. They are Prof. Umberto Solimene, Mr Giovanni Gurnari, Mr Giorgio D’Alessandro, Mr Jacek Chojnowski, Mr Otsuka Yoshinori,  Mr Pal Geher, Mr Stafano Masiero, Mr Fabio Esposito, Mr Li Qing, Mr Wei Xiaoan, Mr Zhang Yue, Mr Wang Jie, Mr Cao Wenfu, Mr Luo Zibai, Mr Li Yonghua, Ms Jolanta Zegarska, Mr Song Yingjie. The appointed advisers will provide Chongqing with intellectual support while it’s building world-class hot spring tourism city and health resort.
